Jill and I were in the
Third Ward a couple weeks back to get a desk at
Utrecht when this huge acrylic painting caught my eye. I got a little closer and saw the 10 grand price tag. I was thinking, I can't wait to sell a piece for 10 g's. Anyway...
So in class today, a piece in my teacher's lecture (on
Golden Mean) catches my eye and I jot down his name.
Turns out, there's a guy who teaches at
Parkside who's in the art department and his brother is the guy who did the one in the lecture and the painting hanging in the Third Ward.
Reginald Baylor. His stuff is awesome. Check out more of his work
HERE.
