so the Bulls aren't in it, but that doesn't mean basketball's over for me.

let's face it, no one in the East is stopping Lebron's Cavs. i still think Orlando is gonna beat Boston, but the Magic stand zero percent chance against Clevland. the Magic are dangerous in the fact that at any moment their one through four can hit the three, but mark my words: Orlando is SOFT. yeah they have Dwight Howard but Orlando is not gonna take it to the rack. they're not gonna bang you down low all game. they'll kick in and out through Howard who will try to score with his post moves, but that's it. Orlando or Boston for that fact are not amongst the NBA elite.

prediction: Orlando wins game 7 over Boston. but then loses to Clevland in the Eastern Conference Finals in 5. maybe 6.

though it would be wildly entertaining if we got a Lakers/Cavs match up for the finals, a little part of me wouldn't mind seeing the Nuggets make it. if anyone in the West has a chance to beat LA, it's Denver. the Nuggets have been notorious for their lack of stops in the stretch and the lack of a true court general. but not this year as the Nuggets have become the most surpising dominant team in the post-season. yeah Clevland has been unstoppable, but has anyone really gave them a challenge? i guess maybe i've underestimated Denver but by picking up Billups and C Anderson (yes Birdman) the Nuggets have transformed into a true contender.

but who are we kidding D Stern is probably dialing in to refs during games to insure a Lebron vs. Kobe finals.

whether it's Denver or LA in the finals, either way i'd like to see KOBE LOSE.

that is all for now.

have a splendid day.

  1. How bad is the NBA that the Cavs make it to the Eastern Conference final playing two teams who had worse records than Utah, the 8th spot in the West. But everyone is so hyped on Lebrons stats... hey we killed a team who wasnt even .500 on the year........
